We are thrilled to announce the official release date of September 24th for our forthcoming single, Dismissed.

Dismissed features an amazing vocal performance from Christina Siravo, a sizzling 🎸 electric guitar performance from Micah Blakeslee, and a grade A top-notch mix by the sensational Matt Pop!

We all poured our hearts into this female empowerment pop anthem! It's a bit of a 1990s throwback in the same musical genre as TLC, Pink, or maybe even Britney Spears.

Hoyt and I composed this song back in the 1990s while we were living in New York City. It's a very streetwise track. I used the E-Mu Proteus 2000 to compose most of the music on this. Some of those original stems can still be heard here in the new mix. It was great, after all of this time, to finally take the song out of the demo phase and make a proper recording of it.

Admittedly this track has a bit of an urban pop flair which is a bit different for us. We hope you will embrace our new sound with open arms.

Candy Apple Blue - Second Sight

The new 16-track studio album, Second Sight, from synth-pop band Candy Apple Blue is now available on a limited edition compact disc!

The Second Sight digipak CD was pressed on gorgeous eco-friendly packaging made from sturdy 15-point, grade-A, recycled board stock containing a clear tray made from recycled plastic. The non-toxic vegetable-based inks that were used on this product produced stunning vivid colors that are beautiful yet safe. The velvety matte UV coating gives the artwork the perfect finish and is very durable. This CD is factory pressed, cellophane sealed, and is a Red Book standard disc. It comes complete with a hype sticker and even includes CD-text information!

Second Sight is the retro-cool new studio album by American synthpop band Candy Apple Blue. Focusing on an authentic 1980's pop sound, this album is a professional and polished release. The musical duo worked closely with Canadian mixer and producer Juno Dreams and Netherlands producer Matt Pop to create a sound that is both unique and commercial.

The album was mastered by celebrated audio engineer Mike Marsh (Capital Cities, Pet Shop Boys, Erasure). Second Sight contains a wide spectrum of colorful pop songs including the upbeat tracks Dance Again and Crying My Eyes Out. Tracks like Game Over, Dancing in the Shadows, It Happens All the Time, and Turn on the Night have a darker haunting sound that the band is known for.
