Fun Facts: Heaven Discotheque was a dancing nightclub that was open from 1979 to 1984 in the former Fulton Building in downtown
Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. It was Pittsburgh's answer to New York City's Studio 54!
DJ's would spin disco, italo-disco, hi-nrg, top 40, new wave, and
dance-pop classics! Heaven had a 'no jeans / no t-shirt' dress policy
and often local celebrities would be turned away at the door if not
dressed accordingly. Heaven was the place to see and be seen! The who's
who of the greater Pittsburgh area would often frequent. It was high-tech and high fashion and its large grand marble staircase cemented its
place in the hearts of discotheque enthusiasts everywhere! Owner Richard
Stern sold his club in mid-1984 to Tom Hayson. Mr. Hayson then did a
half-million-dollar renovation on the place and renamed it 'Mirage'.

Verse One:
How come you're not talking to me anymore
We had a little fight and you pointed to the door
Lead In:
Now I toss and turn can't sleep at night
Without you nothing's right
Chorus:
Look what your love has done to me
I'm on the edge of insanity
I simply refuse to believe we're through
I'm mad about you, I'm mad about you
Verse Two:
I'm driving by your house most every, every day
I was looking through the window when I saw his face
Lead In 2:
Now I tell myself that I'm alright
My love for you has turned to spite
(Repeat Chorus)
Bridge:
And I'm mad at the world and I'm mad at myself
I'm mad that you're in love with somebody else
You've brought me to this now I think I'm going crazy
Break down:
Look what you love has done to me
Pre-Chorus:
Look what your love has done
Look what your love has done
Last Chorus:
Look what your love has done to me
I'm on the edge of insanity
People say I've gone a little bit cuckoo
I'm mad about you, I'm mad about you
Here's our latest single! It's a really sweet slice of synthpop homemade apple pie featuring heartfelt vocals delivered by Nick Bramlett. We hope you like it! xoxo
Verse One:
Well I've been through too many nights with you
to give you up without a fight and
I don't know if I could learn to let you go
But I don't wanna try tonight
Lead In 1:
You're always turning away
You don't hear me say, "I wanna be around forever"
Maybe this time you will see that you and I should be together
Chorus:
No one else could ever love you more than I do, no way
No one else could ever give you the love you need, oh and
Day or night when you're out of sight, you're never out of mind, oh and
No one else could ever love you more than I do, not like me
Verse Two:
They say people change, just go their separate ways
But I don't believe they really do, and
Time moves on, yet I know that when you're gone
I'll still be pining over you
Lead In 2:
You've got the world in your eyes
And you say goodbye before they realize you're leavin'
Maybe this time you won't go 'cause you already know the reason

We are moving to electro underneath the lights
What I see I want to get to know, you're put together right
Lead In:
You move a little closer, stare into my eyes
The bass line keeps us moving while I am hypnotized
You move me from the dance floor to the corner of the bar
We do two shots of whiskey things are going well so far
Chorus:
Let's get something started, that's all we've gotta do
Let's get something started, let's make our move and start something new
Let's get something started (x4)
Verse Two:
While we're making our acquaintance the DJ plays my song
As our hearts beat to the rhythm, a strange phenomena
Lead In 2:
It feels like I'm in a dream, out of touch with reality
We're getting something started between you and me
Something to last for infinity
(Repeat Chorus)
Spoken Bridge:
My name is Alaska Thunderfuck 5000 from the planet Glamtron
When your spaceship crash lands on a distant planet,
All you can do is start something new!
(Repeat Chorus)

Verse One:
The only three words that you never said were the ones I ached to hear
But now I could care less about you dear
It's sad to think how much of my time was wasted on you
I find it downright laughable that I loved you
Lead In:
But you used me from the start
Playing games with my sacred heart
And I'm where I should be now
Well darling I got by somehow
Chorus:
You were a mistake (mistake) I had to learn from
A mistake (mistake) A mistake I had to make
I deserve someone better than you
Verse Two:
I always used to see your face in the crowd
and think of how you let me down
I let myself play victim, I was your clown
You always used to keep me waiting
You had me dangling by a string
All alone on Friday night waiting for the phone to ring
(Repeat Lead In)
(Repeat Chorus)
(Repeat Lead In)
(Repeat Chorus)
End:
The only three words that you never said were the ones I ached to hear
But now I could care less about you dear

I've been taking it day by day trying to get by
I've been trying to convince myself a lie
Lead In:
The door is right in front of me
But I wouldn't dare to leave!
Chorus:
So many times I said that I'd start all over again
I can't seem to break these chains
Don't know where to even begin!
I hold my head up high, just hopin' I'll get by
Post Chorus:
Start all over, over again (x3)
Start all over again (x2)
Verse Two:
I've been making a fool of myself not letting you go
There's circumstantial evidence but I pretend that I don't know

The door is right in front of me
I've been prisoned by destiny
(Repeat Chorus & Post Chorus)
Lead In 3;
The door is right in front of me
I'm my own worst enemy!

Candy Apple Blue - Start All Over Again (7" Italo-Disco Mix)
UPDATE: Although it may seem like we've slowed down a bit, that couldn't be further from the truth.
We've been busier than ever actually. Carly's been moonlighting on Candy Apple Blue songwriting with a wonderful producer from France, shopping songs for outside artists.
Hoyt's been busy organizing our upcoming collaboration with Nick Bramlett. And in the meantime, we've been penning new tracks for our album 'The Fall of Frenzy'.
Along with working on a collab with rock band TV Movie. Life comes at you fast, we promise to have something new for you to listen to soon!
Verse One:
I hear you've been talkin' so much about me
But you've got nothing good to say
I've heard you wanna live without me
And you're ready to throw our love away
Lead In:
Well I've read this book before
And quite frankly it's a bore
Why should I wait around and be blue?
Chorus:
Give me some bad news (bad news)
Tell me you're gonna break my heart
'Cuz it would really make me happy if we broke apart
Yeah, give me some bad news (bad news)
Come on give it your best shot
If you break up with me baby it would mean a lot
Yeah give me some bad, bad, bad news, bad news
Verse Two:
I can't believe you think I'd be crying
Baby we're better off this way
There's really no point in you and me denying
We'd be better off calling it quits today
(Repeat Lead In)
(Repeat Chorus)
Bridge Rap:
Lick the blood from the blade
that you pulled from my heart
Smile on your face as we depart
Does it make you pleased to make me hurt?
Rubbin' my pretty face in the dirt
Go ahead and give it your best shot
Let's see what kind of ammo you got!
Let's not, not, not reminisce
Come on, let's do this!
Verse One:
More and more it happens everyday
I can feel you pull away
Somethings different but I don't know what
A change is coming, I can feel it in my gut
Lead In:
And the wind carries broken heartache
I don't know how much more I can take
Chorus:
I don't want to be the one to say goodbye
(the one to say goodbye)
No I don't want to be the one who makes you cry
(the one to say goodbye)
We both know it's over, nothing left to prove
Waiting for the other to make a move
No I don't want to be the one to say goodbye
(the one to say goodbye)
Verse Two:
Inching closer, how can I pretend
that we're not moving toward the bitter-end
Pushing forward through this silent space
Where love exists, but somehow's been misplaced
Lead In 2:
And the wind carries broken heartache
Baby I hope it's not too late
(Repeat Chorus)
(Solo)
Lead In 3:
And the wind carries broken heartache
I don't know how much more I can fake
(Repeat Chorus)
Ad-Lib:
More and more it happens everyday (it happens everyday)
More and more it happens everyday (we're just slippin' away)
The one to say goodbye, the one to say goodbye
