Working With Project K

Carly Emerick of Candy Apple Blue 

My favorite part of covering Dead Or Alive's "Then There Was You" was getting the opportunity to work with dance music producer James Blair (AKA Project K). Collaborating with James on this release has been incredibly rewarding, artistically speaking.

Beyond the music, we immediately developed a strong kinship and found that we share similar worldviews.

Interestingly enough, we both had the chance to meet Pete Burns during his lifetime. I'd like to think that, in some strange way, Pete brought us together to make this collaboration happen.
